In 1999 Pastel's had a major façade renovation so that the building would blend in with the City's on-going Renaissance Project and the area's historical designation.

The building has a large first floor sales area which is divided into 3 sections plus a backroom repair area and teaching room. The second floor has a large teaching studio plus 4 rooms, 2 of which are small teaching rooms. There also is a large storage room. The third floor has a 5 room apartment area. Adjacent to the building is a parking lot.
